Starting Point: What Is A Learning Behavior
One of the most important steps before beginning your homeschooling journey is understanding how your child learns best.

Does your child need to move, wiggle, and stay actively engaged while learning? Or do they prefer a quiet environment with clear instructions and independent work?

Do they learn best through songs, repetition, and memorization? Or do they prefer reading, analyzing information, and following step-by-step directions?
These are all examples of learning behaviors that play a significant role in determining which curriculum and teaching methods will be most effective for your child.
Choosing a curriculum that aligns with the way your child naturally learns can increase engagement, improve retention, reduce frustration, and create a more enjoyable homeschool experience for both parent and student.
