CO Western Slope Co-ops

Finding the right homeschool community can make all the difference in your family's educational journey. To help simplify your search, I've compiled a list of private (non-publicly funded) homeschool co-ops and homeschool communities across Colorado's Western Slope. This directory focuses exclusively on independent organizations and excludes government-funded homeschool enrichment programs, making it easier to connect with families and programs that align with your homeschooling goals.

• The Valley Co-Op (Carbondale) - Parent-led enrichment co-op serving the Roaring Fork Valley with twice-monthly classes, field trips, and activities for homeschool families.

• Western Slope Tapestry of Grace Co-op (Palisade) - Christian parent-led cooperative using the Tapestry of Grace curriculum for ages 5–15.

• San Juan Christian Home Educators (Montrose County) - Nonprofit homeschool community offering sports, field trips, activities, and fellowship for homeschool families.

• Wild + Free (Grand Junction) - A worldwide homeschool community that connects families through local groups focused on nature, play, literature, and meaningful relationships while encouraging a wide variety of homeschooling styles and philosophies.

• Homeschool in the Valley (Carbondale) - a homeschool support community connecting families in the Roaring Fork Valley through resources, parent support, field trips, and the twice-monthly Valley Co-Op enrichment program.
